" Explain the theory of expansion and contraction,"the teacher asked one of the pupils.
"A substance expands when it is heated and contracts when it is cooled."
"No wonder we have long vacation in summer and a short one in winter,"remarked another pupil.
A NAUGHTY BOY
Little Anish came home from school and said to his father ,"Dad,,what would do,if I said I got one hundred percent in arithmetic today?"
"What? A perfect score? Oh,I would faint away,"said the father.
"You see,I don't want you to faint.That's why I restrained myself from getting more than fifty."
