WORDS OF SAI BABA

PARTNERS

Sai Baba says that the interaction between individuals who live together in a close daily relationship, such as marriage, can be likened to the way two rough stones shaken together in a jar will each polish the rough surfaces of the other by the friction resulting from being rubbed against one another. This polishing process can,if accepted, give each partner the chance to work off old karmic patterns and learn the lessons that still need to be completed.
This is by no means always a pleasant situation, and many people prefer to withdraw from the interaction if it is too stressful, and seek another partner with whom they hope their shared life will be more harmonious.
If the interaction is accepted, together with the frictions,it is possible, with the aid of a partner,to learn and grow into a more mature and whole person even more rapidly and on a deeper level than is possible alone.
As this basic connection between two adults directly affect their children and succeeding generations,it is most important to try to discover why it so often fails.
